In 2024, Shopee signed a cooperation agreement with VECOM to launch the “Enable SMEs” project, aiming to train e-commerce skills and promote digital transformation in businesses. Accordingly, the project continues to be upgraded in scale and objectives, accompanying localities in transforming the digital economy through e-commerce by helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) participate in e-commerce and develop businesses on digital platforms.

Not only helping sellers transform digitally and develop successful e-commerce businesses in the domestic market, Shopee also supports businesses to expand their business and introduce products to international markets including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Taiwan (China) through the Global Selling Program (SIP). This initiative significantly reduces the difficulties and costs for SMEs who want to introduce products globally.

In addition, Shopee also cooperates with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) to participate in the annual ASEAN Online Shopping Day (AOSD) program. This is one of the leading large-scale events in ASEAN in the field of e-commerce with the aim of promoting activities in the industry and the digital transformation process of the entire region.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Managing Director of Shopee Vietnam said: "We are committed to providing practical solutions, in-depth training programs and breakthrough initiatives to support local sellers to develop sustainably. In 2025, Shopee will continue to make continuous efforts, expand the scale of cooperation and invest in technology, to create a dynamic e-commerce ecosystem, where Vietnamese products are honored and Vietnamese consumers experience the best values".
