After Tet, teachers in the mountainous area of Quang Tri have had many 'tricks' to call on students to return to class soon...
After the long Tet holiday, on the first day of school, according to preliminary statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province, students across the province basically returned to school in full. The few students who have not returned to class are being visited at home by schools and teachers in coordination with local authorities, especially in the two mountainous districts of Dakrong and Huong Hoa.
After checking the number of students on the first day of school in the new year (yesterday morning, February 3) and cleaning the classrooms, and holding spring meetings, the principals and teachers of many schools in two mountainous districts of Quang Tri spread out to the villages to encourage students to return to class.
After visiting, wishing a happy new year, giving candy and lucky money to the family, the teachers advised the students to return to school soon.

Teacher Cao Thi Quyet (Dakrong Secondary School, Dakrong Commune, Dakrong District) said that yesterday, February 3, she went to the homes of 10 students to encourage them to return to class. During her 14 years working at this difficult mountainous school, after every Lunar New Year, Ms. Quyet and other teachers go to each house to encourage students.

At A Xing Primary and Secondary School (Lia Commune, Huong Hoa District), teachers also organized many "Knowledge Bus Trips" to villages. Specifically, teachers brought "mobile libraries" to many villages so that parents and students could have books and newspapers to read; thereby, combining with mobilizing students to go to class early.
Before the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province directed all schools to grasp the situation and family circumstances of students, especially those in difficult circumstances and at risk of dropping out of school, to promptly encourage, help and mobilize students to return to school after Tet.
