Students take online test on information security knowledge from March
The plan to organize the third season of the 'Students with Information Security 2024' competition has just been updated by VNISA. According to this plan, this year's competition will take place from March to May.
The online test system is expected to open in early March. The two official rounds will take place from March 20 to April 15, with the preliminary round and the final round lasting from April 22 to April 25. The award ceremony and the conference on child protection online will take place in May.
Continuing to maintain the online exam format on the website thihsattt.vn, students participating in this year's 'Students with information security' will take a test consisting of 24 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes. The test content is general knowledge related to information security and child protection in cyberspace.
According to the instructions of the Organizing Committee, each student can only register for 1 contest account. After successfully registering an account, during the contest, candidates will log in to review, take practice tests and take the official exam.
After answering all the questions or the time limit is up, the candidate clicks the 'Submit' button to complete the test. The test system will automatically record the results, test time and calculate the score for the candidate. The time to open the online test system is an opportunity for students to get familiar with the test format and content. Therefore, students can take the test many times and each time they take the test, they can review their test results.
Regarding the award structure, this year the Organizing Committee will choose to award 100 individual prizes, including 3 First prizes, 8 Second prizes, 15 Third prizes and 74 Encouragement prizes. In addition, there will be 11 collective prizes awarded, with 3 First prizes for the 3 Departments of Education and Training with the highest student participation rate; 3 First prizes for the 3 schools with the most contestants participating in the contest; and 5 Second prizes for the 5 schools with the most contestants participating in the next contest.
According to statistics, in 2023, the 'Students with Information Security' contest attracted 740,250 contestants from 5,417 schools in 63 provinces and cities to participate, an increase of about 20% compared to the first year the contest was held. This year, the Organizing Committee expects the number of middle school students participating in the contest to exceed 1 million.
