Yen Bai - In 2025, Mu Cang Chai district was assigned by Yen Bai province to collect a state budget of 180 billion VND, the revenue excluding land use fees is 135 billion VND; the target of the district People's Council is 230 billion VND, of which the balanced revenue is 135 billion VND, land use fees is 95 billion VND. To complete the assigned plan, the district has been implementing synchronous solutions.

To avoid disadvantages affecting the implementation of budget collection tasks, from the beginning of the year, the Mu Cang Chai District Tax Department has coordinated with departments and offices to proactively advise local Party committees and authorities on solutions for budget collection in the area. The unit has directed tax teams to clearly understand the revenue sources of each organization and individual; and to propagate and mobilize people to properly implement the Law on Tax Administration.
For non-state revenue, which often accounts for a large proportion of the total budget balance, the Department has strengthened the management of revenue from enterprises, ensuring correct and sufficient collection, avoiding tax arrears; strictly controlling tax declaration, deduction, exemption, reduction, extension of tax payment, tax settlement of enterprises and urging budget collection according to regulations.
In addition to solutions in professional activities, the unit focuses on propagating and disseminating tax policies to taxpayers; removing difficulties for production and business; supporting and creating favorable conditions for the development of enterprises in all economic sectors, especially non-state enterprises, small and medium enterprises to quickly increase revenue.
At the same time, the Department has performed well the task of digital transformation, effectively deployed the use of electronic invoices; received tax declaration dossiers, processed and returned results to taxpayers within the prescribed time; and effectively supported taxpayers in tax registration and declaration.
The representative of the District Tax Department said that the budget collection work has always received attention and close direction from superiors, the District Party Committee, the People's Council, and the District People's Committee regarding the revenues of a number of enterprises; handling difficulties for households changing land use purposes and collecting land allocation fees.
Along with that, the Department has proactively coordinated with departments, offices and People's Committees of communes, especially the commune tax advisory council to closely coordinate in reviewing revenue sources in the area. The District People's Committee directed departments and offices to effectively implement administrative procedure reform; propagate tax policies and laws, especially propaganda on the implementation of electronic invoices to taxpayers through the broadcasting system.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Head of Mu Cang Chai District Tax Department shared: "In the context of many difficulties, from the beginning of 2025, the Department has closely followed the direction of superiors, Party committees and local authorities to effectively carry out budget collection work in the area; closely monitor the progress of budget collection; evaluate and analyze each economic sector and each tax, striving to complete the assigned budget balance collection".
The Department regularly coordinates to grasp the tax arising from enterprises; strengthens the inspection of tax declarations at tax authorities; analyzes and synthesizes data of tax declarations; speeds up the progress of tax inspections to ensure compliance with the plan. At the same time, the unit strengthens the management and use of electronic invoices; strictly checks invoices and input documents; manages and is transparent in the use of invoices by taxpayers and promptly manages the tax arising from payment to the State budget according to regulations; classifies debts, issues tax debt notices to enterprises with large debts or deliberately delaying payment; coordinates with relevant units to urge and implement debt collection and tax debt enforcement measures in accordance with regulations. In addition, the Department focuses on fully and promptly implementing policies on tax, fee, charge and land rent exemption, reduction and extension.
The tax staff always upholds the sense of responsibility, effectively performs public duties, and resolutely organizes and implements tasks from the beginning of the year. Mu Cang Chai district will strive to complete the 2025 budget collection target, creating a solid financial foundation for local socio-economic development in the following years.
Implementing well the assignment of specific and detailed tasks to each cadre; strengthening inspection, supervision and urging the implementation of tasks of tax teams, the budget revenue of Mu Cang Chai by the end of March 13, 2025 reached 35.4 billion VND, equal to 20% of the provincial estimate, equal to 15% of the district estimate and compared to the same period in 2024 reached 137%. Of which, the balanced revenue reached over 30.9 billion VND, equal to 23% of the provincial estimate, equal to 21% of the district estimate, equal to 131% compared to the same period in 2024; land use fee collection reached 4.5 billion VND, equal to 10% of the provincial estimate, equal to 6% of the district estimate. |
