At the Congress, delegates commented that in the past term, despite many difficulties and challenges due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Association successfully organized rich and diverse cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Japan.
The new point is that the activities introducing the cultures of the two countries at the same time are not only maintained in both Vietnam and Japan but also completely on the basis of socialization.
In addition, Japanese language teaching at the Nui Truc Center under the Association was maintained during the Covid-19 period and then developed more dynamically, suitable for the new situation; foreign information work was deployed strongly, creatively, effectively, and widely; relations with Vietnamese-Japanese partners were expanded, practical, increasingly in-depth and stable; charity work was always maintained.
However, some planned plans such as organizing Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange events in other provinces and cities outside Hanoi have not been implemented due to objective reasons and financial difficulties.

The Association determined the motto for the next term as "Proactive, flexible, creative and effective", towards enhancing exchanges and organizing a variety of Vietnamese-Japanese cultural programs, including those serving young audiences, students and pupils.
The Association will work with partners to organize activities to introduce Vietnamese culture in Japan, and with localities to organize a number of cultural exchange programs between the two countries in other provinces and cities outside Hanoi.
Regarding the goal of further improving the quality of Japanese language teaching and learning at Nui Truc Center, the Association plans to send teachers to attend training courses to improve teaching quality in Japan through the Japan International Exchange Fund.
The Association proactively establishes and maintains relationships with partners to take advantage of strengths and organize cultural exchange activities between the two countries on the basis of socialization.
The Executive Committee of the 6th term of the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Association was launched. |
In addition, the Association will carry out external information work in the direction of increasingly improving the effectiveness of dissemination along with humanitarian charity activities as a social responsibility.
