According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, up to now, the progress of organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of Quang Ninh province is taking place about 1 month earlier than the direction of the Central Government.
Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, said: As of March 15, all 1,452 residential areas in the province have completed the organization of the Conference of the Front Working Committee for the 2024-2026 term. 74/177 commune-level units have successfully organized the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress and are expected to complete all of them in April 2024. For the district level, it is expected that all 13 localities of Quang Ninh will complete the organization of the District-level Fatherland Front Congress in May and June 2024. And according to the plan, the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress will be held in July 2024.
The organization of the Conference of the Front Working Committee and the Congress of the Fatherland Front at the commune level in Quang Ninh is assessed as having been carefully, thoroughly and solemnly prepared and promoting the strength of great national unity. At the same time, it also ensures democracy, honesty, accuracy, objectivity, intelligence and responsibility. Thereby, creating a joyful, excited, trusting and united atmosphere among the people.
To ensure thorough preparation for the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has issued documents directing, guiding, and providing specific training for the Fatherland Fronts in localities to implement. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also regularly guides and answers specific questions related to the implementation and organization of the Fatherland Front Congresses at the grassroots level...
In addition, Quang Ninh province also allocates large resources to organize the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province. Along with the local budget, there are also socialized resources to support the organization of the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Ninh province, thereby demonstrating the interest and attention of units, businesses, and people of all walks of life in the province for this important political and social event.
Valuable experience from model congresses
To move towards the district and provincial level Fatherland Front Congresses, each district-level locality in the province has selected one unit to lead the model Congress. Ha Long City has selected three model units, Mong Cai City has selected two model units. The whole province has 16/177 model Congress units at the commune level.
Mr. Bui Duc Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Long City informed: The Standing Committee of the City Fatherland Front Committee has selected 3 units including Thong Nhat Commune, Cao Thang Ward and Hung Thang Ward to organize a model Congress in January 2024 to gain experience before directing a simultaneous Congress throughout the city. The city's way of directing the model Congress is to gain experience directly after the Congress. At the same time, directly answer questions pointed out at the Congress regarding personnel, political reports, congress programs, propaganda plans, etc. Thereby, helping the remaining units gain more experience to better organize the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the grassroots level.
For the district-level model congresses, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province has directed the selection of two model congress units: Ha Long city representing the Western region of the province and Dam Ha district representing the Eastern region of the province. It is expected that the two units will organize the model congresses in April 2024.
“The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has directed to invite all districts, towns and cities in the province to attend the model congresses of the two localities above. Immediately after the congress, a conference will be held on-site to draw experience, directly answer questions raised at the congress and issue a document summarizing common experiences throughout the province. These will be valuable experiences that will contribute significantly to the success of future congresses,” emphasized Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province Hoang Duc Hanh.
High consensus, good competition, early finish
To celebrate the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, since October 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province has launched an emulation movement with the theme "High consensus, good emulation, early finish". The requirements of the emulation must be demonstrated through specific works and tasks, with clear names, clear tasks, clear content, and practical significance for each facility and locality. At the same time, promptly commend outstanding collectives and individuals with initiatives, good practices, new models, typical works, etc.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province registered to carry out 2 projects, the tasks are: Supporting 200 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province; undertaking to help 246 poor households and reduce 1,532 near-poor households according to the province's new criteria.
Along with that, each district and commune level locality in the province has at least one project or task demonstrating innovation and creativity in performing well the functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Typically, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dam Ha district has implemented the construction of 2 models and tasks, including: Supporting the construction of new houses for households with especially difficult conditions in Dam Ha commune with a budget of 80 million VND and supporting Quang An commune with 30 poles and solar-powered light bulbs to light up 1 km of inter-commune roads with a total value of 100 million VND. According to Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dam Ha district, Nhenh Quoc Sinh, it is expected that these 2 projects and tasks will be completed in April 2024.
Other localities in the province have also simultaneously deployed and implemented many models and tasks such as: Building Great Unity Houses; upgrading electricity, roads, schools, stations; helping poor households... All of these create an exciting competitive atmosphere to welcome the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Ninh province and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
