Lao Cai organizes conference on personnel work

On March 6, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee held conferences to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Mr. Pham Toan Thang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, announced the decision of the Secretariat on appointing Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Procuracy, to join the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong said that in order to ensure the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, after reviewing the Proposal of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued Notice No. 4338 on approving the policy of completing the membership of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and the personnel structure for the position of Lao Cai City Party Secretary.

After implementing the personnel work process, the Provincial Party Standing Committee submitted to the Central Party Secretariat and the Central Organizing Committee the introduction of personnel to be elected as members of the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025; then, the Central Organizing Committee agreed and issued Document No. 5669 to introduce Ms. Giang Thi Dung, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Lao Cai City Party Committee to be elected to join the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025 term. As a result, Ms. Giang Thi Dung was unanimously elected by 45/45 Executive Committee members present at the conference to be an additional member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025 term.

At the conference, a meeting was held to say goodbye to the members of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee who had retired. Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Ms. Ha Thi Khanh Nguyet, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union for her outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 18.
