On June 3, the AVP website reported that battles continued in the Svatovsky area, where Russian troops were actively advancing west of Kuzemovka. Despite fierce resistance from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army continued to demonstrate determination and perseverance in achieving its goals.
Recently, the Russian army launched an attack on the positions of the 92nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novosyolovsky. After fierce clashes, the Russian side temporarily occupied several houses in the village. However, reinforcements from the Armed Forces of Ukraine quickly arrived to support, and heavy firepower forced the Russian army to retreat to its original position in Kuzemovka. This is reported by the “Military Chronicle”.

Meanwhile, north of Kuzemovka, Russian reconnaissance groups made significant progress, pushing Ukrainian forces away from positions near the railway. This allowed the Russians to capture several key points.
In response to these actions, the 92nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to launch a counterattack from the Berestovoye area in the direction of Kuzemovka, but their attack was repulsed and forced to retreat.
Until now, the main line of communication ran along the railway and Kuzemovka remained under Russian control. By controlling the strategically important position at a bend in the railway, Russian forces secured a favorable position for further advances towards Novoselovsky.
It should be noted that the attack on Novoselovsky faced significant difficulties due to the military positions located on the hills. The AVP website commented that, given the terrain, an attack from two flanks could be launched.
On June 4, Russia launched a new wave of airstrikes, attacking many military positions across Ukraine.
Yesterday (June 4), Russia carried out another wave of attacks on military positions across Ukraine. SF News reported that this new wave of airstrikes was carried out in response to the continuous shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Russian border area. Ukrainian military officials confirmed the attacks on June 4. Air strike warnings were also sounded in many areas.
