The jury conducted the judging of the competitions at Brigade 131 including: Book discussion, library facilities, Ho Chi Minh Room; introduction of Ho Chi Minh Room photo board.

In the "Book Discussion" contest, the 131st Brigade Library introduced the book "Firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands, and continental shelf of the Fatherland in the new situation" collected and compiled by "Son Hai"; published by Dan Tri Publishing House in 2022. The content of the book includes articles, discussions, and important historical evidence on national sovereignty and territorial waters to help readers understand and sympathize with the difficulties and silent sacrifices of the forces; raise awareness, consciousness, and responsibility of every Vietnamese citizen, especially the young generation, for the task of protecting national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in general; protecting sovereignty over seas and islands in particular; identifying and resolutely fighting against erroneous views on Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands.

For the competition on facilities, library books, and Ho Chi Minh Room, the jury highly appreciated the unit for investing in and consolidating the arrangement of books, newspapers, and scientific documents; the visual display boards of Ho Chi Minh Room of Battalion 883 were in accordance with the instructions, consistent, and highly aesthetic. In particular, the contest on explaining the Ho Chi Minh Room photo board was performed fluently, emotionally, and attractively by members of the Ho Chi Minh Room working group.

The jury judges the bookkeeping and professional examination at the 131st Brigade Library.

Preliminary assessment of the competition, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Giang, Head of the Cultural House, Propaganda Department, Navy Political Department said: The competition team of Brigade 131 was active, proactive, did well in all preparations, ensuring the correct schedule. Library activities, Ho Chi Minh Room had many innovations attracting a large number of officers and soldiers to participate in cultural and spiritual activities, especially mass art activities, reading books and newspapers. The content of the competition introducing the photo board of Ho Chi Minh Room left many emotions, feelings and good impressions.

According to the plan, Brigade 131 will participate in the competitions: Library Awareness, Ho Chi Minh Room and internal radio program at the military agency on July 26.
