The contest opened on July 11, with 16 contestants from agencies and units in the entire brigade taking part in the following competitions: Good driving, good driving, technical training officer; regular garage; organizing and implementing technical days, technical innovation initiatives; awareness of professional work in the industry; Campaign 50 and road traffic safety and order laws.

According to the assessment of the competition organizing committee, the units have comprehensively upgraded technical support facilities, garages, warehouses, maintenance stations, control rooms, etc. in accordance with the instructions of the General Department of Engineering. The combat-ready and regularly used motorbike system has been maintained and upgraded in a synchronous manner in terms of technical coefficient quality, ensuring good performance for the brigade's tasks. In the process of preparing to participate in the competition, the units have organized good training and fostered professional skills for 10 drivers, and awareness training for nearly 60 officers, employees, and soldiers; 8 repairmen have practiced to improve their maintenance skills.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the contest, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Nam, Brigade Commander, requested agencies and units to promote the results achieved through the contest, continue to promote the responsibility of Party committees and commanders at all levels, direct the improvement of the quality of technical assurance work at the unit; strengthen the organization of training for the subjects, ready to participate in the 2023 Army-level Good Vehicle, Good Driver Contest. Strengthen and perfect the system of records to improve the level, capacity of exploitation, use, quality of preservation, maintenance, repair, synchronization, storage of vehicle and motorbike equipment, the regularization of technical work of the units as well as assessment of the professional level of the driving team...

The results of the competition also serve as a basis for unification in the organization of technical work on vehicles and motorcycles, meeting the requirements of training tasks, combat readiness, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit, successfully completing assigned tasks.

At the end of the contest, the Brigade awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 6 individuals with good achievements in the contest.
