Previously, on March 17, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Tuan, Chief of Office of the Border Guard Command of Dien Bien province, reported to the unit's head that in the late afternoon of the same day, his MB Bank account received 446 million VND from the account of a limited liability company with unknown bank, account number and address.
Immediately afterwards, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Tuan went to the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department to report. Through verification, Dien Bien Provincial Police coordinated with the bank to determine that the account number that mistakenly transferred money to Mr. Tuan's account belonged to Phuc Thinh Investment Services Company Limited, headquartered in Ward 3, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City. The person who mistakenly transferred money was the accountant of this company.

At the same time, she expressed her gratitude for comrade Tuan's good deed.
According to the Dien Bien Provincial Police, the prompt reporting and return of VND446 million to the person who transferred the money by mistake by comrade Dang Van Tuan has a profound humanitarian meaning. At the same time, citizens are advised to promptly report to the authorities when receiving money transferred from a stranger to an unknown account for handling and not to arbitrarily use that money for personal purposes.
