On the morning of June 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen organized a ceremony to reward two athletes Le Thi Tuyet (Athletics) and Van Minh Hieu (Karate) for their excellent performance at the 32nd SEA Games and the 2023 Southeast Asian Karate Championship. Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My acknowledged the efforts of athletes Le Thi Tuyet and Van Minh Hieu in the past time; at the same time, he said that this is a source of inspiration for fans and sports people to continue their efforts to help Phu Yen sports develop in the future.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My suggested that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should quickly review regulations to ensure the best resources for discovering and developing sports talents in Phu Yen. In addition, the Phu Yen Sports Training Center should organize more tournaments to select talented athletes in high-performance sports.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to two athletes Le Thi Tuyet and Van Minh Hieu and coaches Nguyen Tuan Anh and Pham Hong Ha for their outstanding achievements for Phu Yen and Vietnam sports in recent times.
