34.9% of processing and manufacturing enterprises forecast an increase in production and business.

According to the Phu Yen Statistics Office, through a survey, up to 34.9% of enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry forecast that production and business in the first quarter of 2025 will increase and only 9.3% of enterprises assessed that production and business will decrease compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.

 

Regarding the production volume of enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry, 27.9% of enterprises forecast that production volume in the first quarter of 2025 will increase and 7% of enterprises assessed that production volume will decrease compared to the previous quarter.

 

Regarding the number of new orders, 27.5% of enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry forecast that the number of new orders will increase in the first quarter of 2025, while only 2.5% of enterprises expect the number of new orders to decrease.

 

Regarding the average number of employees, it is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, 13.9% of enterprises predict that the average number of employees will increase, and 7% of enterprises predict that the average number of employees will decrease compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.

 

Also according to the Phu Yen Statistics Office, in 2024, the production value of the processing and manufacturing industry in the province reached 21,079.8 billion VND, an increase of 9% over the previous year. Of which, sugar cane processing was 165,512 tons, an increase of 11.2%; seafood processing was 21,000 tons, an increase of 10.5%; cassava starch processing was 106,000 tons, an increase of 11.6%; cashew nut processing for export was 19,700 tons, an increase of 6.5%; beer production of all kinds was 44.3 million liters, a decrease of 5.7%; clothing production was 19.8 million products, an increase of 6.8%; medicine production was 2,350 million tablets, an increase of 6.8%; electronic components production was 970 million products, an increase of 10.9%...
