After the honoring ceremony held on October 7 in Hanoi, representatives of TCP Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union shared many things when looking back on the 5-year journey of cooperation in organizing the program 'Shining Vietnamese Willpower'.

5-year journey of Shining Vietnamese Willpower
"Shining Vietnamese Willpower" is an annual event organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in collaboration with TCP Vietnam Company. The program aims to find and honor bright stars in the disabled community. 2024 marks the 5-year milestone of sustainable cooperation.
* After 5 years of organizing the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower", what is the greatest value from the program?
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy : Since joining the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" in 2020, the Company and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union have annually organized to honor shining examples of willpower to overcome physical and mental barriers.
Accordingly, after 5 years, the program has honored 200 outstanding young people with disabilities. In 2024, the council carefully reviewed and selected 38 outstanding examples, the brightest stars to honor.
From the beginning, we hoped that the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" could spread positive inspiration, encouraging the young generation of Vietnam, especially special individuals, to continue to break through.
After many years, witnessing many disabled people nominated for the award still continuously striving for themselves and the future of the country, we are very happy to have sown many good seeds, and spread good things.
* According to you, what is different and more special about the records in the following years, especially in 2024?
Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy (Member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union) : The number of young people honored has increased compared to last year, from 35 to 38 people. All profiles are very impressive, especially this year the youngest person born in 2005 - little girl Le Thao Nguyen. Despite having a particularly severe motor disability, the girl from Binh Dinh still strives in her studies, training and achieved excellent results in the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year.

Every year, we continue to be surprised by the incredible resilience of the young generation of Vietnam. There are people with congenital spasticity, forced to be friends with wheelchairs, but still build a team of 20 craftsmen and artists, to create diverse and high-quality products (Thuy Chi's story). There are people who, although their eyes cannot see the world around them clearly, are still chess masters, their moves on the chessboard are filled with light (Le Van Viet's story).
We believe that the stories of these young people and the remaining young people will light a positive fire for the young generation of Vietnam, helping everyone to always strive to overcome difficulties in life.
Upholding the motto "Energize, Revitalize"
* Looking back at the journey with "Shining Vietnamese Willpower", what do both sides wish for in the next journey?
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy : Upholding the motto "Energizing, Revitalizing" of TCP Group, going beyond the framework of business activities, our commitment to Vietnamese youth will continue to be created and developed further.
Consecutively in October 2020 and March 2023, TCP Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union signed a three-year cooperation agreement twice (2020 - 2023 and 2023 - 2025) with regularly organized activities such as the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" (honoring exemplary disabled youth), Journey and Awarding of "Beautiful Youth" (honoring young people with beautiful actions), Festival "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy", Project "Youth Sports Space - Recharging Energy, Rejuvenating Youth",...

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy : One positive point is that we have inspired life "Just walk towards the light, the darkness will be behind you".
Through the program, we not only seek and honor examples of disabled youth who have the will to overcome their fate, but also want to spread and care, call on the social community to continue to support and accompany Vietnamese disabled youth and find sustainable models to support special youth in integrating into the community. The accompanying program "Disabled Youth Start-up" also appeared because of that desire, we support three projects with a cost of 50 million VND to promote the development of disabled youth in long-term development.

After the award ceremony, everything has just begun. The program will continue for many years to come with more opportunities for young people with disabilities. We believe that their stories are good seeds, helping us to have more faith in life and helping society to join hands to maintain positive energy and spirit.
