Naming the park shows respect and gratitude for the contributions of the hero Vo Thi Sau, while also educating the ideals of the younger generation, helping them better understand the history of the nation's struggle, arousing patriotism and self-reliance.

Leningrad - Saint Petersburg Road is 790m long, starting at Luong The Vinh Street, ending at 7/5 Street, Dien Bien Phu City. The road is named to pay tribute to the heroic city of Leningrad - Saint Petersburg, a symbol of international solidarity, which has made many contributions to the movement for peace and support for Vietnam during the resistance war. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, especially between Dien Bien province and Saint Petersburg city.

Roman Lazarovic Karmen Street is 250m long, starting from Phan Dinh Giot Street and ending from Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Dien Bien Phu City. The street was named to honor an excellent Soviet documentary director and cameraman who recorded precious historical moments of the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Victory and the resistance of the Vietnamese people, bringing news of the Dien Bien Phu Victory to people of all ethnic groups around the world.
