Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang Province Le Van Nung; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province Ngo Cong Thuc; Deputy Director of the Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) of the Mekong Delta Vo Thi Thu Huong; Director of the Center for Business Research and Enterprise Support Vu Kim Hanh; Dr. Ho Viet Hiep, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Business Association and leaders of departments, associations and over 160 enterprises attended.
At the conference, representatives of the business community shared valuable and responsible opinions and contributions, and made frank and sincere recommendations related to many existing issues that directly affect production and business activities as well as the implementation of investment projects in the province.
The Provincial Business Association currently has 327 members. In 2024, the association had many practical activities, acting as an important bridge between businesses and the government, fulfilling its role of supporting businesses and representing the voice of businesses to contribute to the province's socio-economic activities.
The Business Support Board actively supports and recommends solutions to help businesses develop. At the same time, it receives and forwards 25 documents to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Long Xuyen City People's Committee, the Special Working Group of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Department of Finance and the Association to immediately respond to businesses when the departments and branches focus on handling them...
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc, on behalf of the provincial leaders, thanked and acknowledged the extremely valuable contributions of the business community and investors in promoting economic development, coordinating to care for people's lives, and contributing to ensuring social security in the area. An Giang province always highly appreciates the role, position and extremely valuable contributions of the business community and investors to the socio-economic development of the province in recent times.
At the same time, An Giang province is always committed to creating the most favorable conditions for production and business activities and the development of enterprises; always accompanying and sharing with enterprises in all conditions and circumstances with tasks and solutions, with very specific and clear assignments and responsibilities.
Faced with new requirements, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc suggested that the business community continue to uphold the spirit of overcoming difficulties, solidarity, self-reliance, proactive adaptation, flexibility, drastic action, scientific and effective solutions, active innovation and creativity to proactively take advantage of opportunities, overcome all challenges to work with local authorities at all levels to successfully implement the province's socio-economic development plan in 2025.
On this occasion, the Provincial Business Association awarded certificates to 29 new members. The Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises awarded certificates of merit to 29 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the construction and development of the An Giang Provincial Business Association in 2024. The Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 21 enterprises, 22 entrepreneurs, and 6 outstanding workers. The An Giang Provincial Business Association awarded certificates of merit to 31 enterprises and entrepreneurs.
