(PLVN) - On the morning of March 21, Bac Giang Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the promotion of the rank from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel for comrade Nguyen The Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Directors of the Provincial Police and representatives of departments under the Provincial Police.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Party Secretary - Director of the Provincial Police Department presented the decision to promote the rank of Colonel to comrade Nguyen The Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department from March 21, 2025.

The Director of the Provincial Police congratulated Colonel Nguyen The Tuan and asked him to continue promoting his qualities and experience in leadership and direction in all aspects of work, contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety and building a clean and strong Bac Giang Provincial Police force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen The Tuan sincerely thanked the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and the Board of Directors of Bac Giang Provincial Public Security for their deep concern.

With the assigned responsibility, Colonel Nguyen The Tuan promised to continue to work with the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors to maintain internal solidarity, continue to promote and flexibly and creatively apply experiences and knowledge in practical work over the past time, and at the same time promote new initiatives to reform working methods and improve the effectiveness of task implementation.
