On the afternoon of March 22, at the Le Ba Dang Art Center (15 Le Loi, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City), the Hue Museum of Fine Arts received three works by the late sculptor Le Thanh Nhon, brought back from Australia by his family.
At the event, Mr. Le Trung Hung, son of sculptor Le Thanh Nhon, presented three of his father's works to the Hue Museum of Fine Arts.

These are the works “Untitled” (oil painting, size 61x51cm); “Ceramic vase” (ceramic, size 50x35x35cm); “Statue of Buddha Shakyamuni” (plaster, size 61x51cm).
According to a representative of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts, the family's donation of the works of the late sculptor Le Thanh Nhon is very meaningful in preserving, conserving, displaying and introducing his life and career to visitors.
Currently, famous works by sculptor Le Thanh Nhon such as the statues of Phan Boi Chau, Vietnamese Girl and Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara are also placed in solemn positions along the park along Le Loi Street in Hue City.
Sculptor and painter Le Thanh Nhon was born in 1940 in Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong province. After 1975, he settled in Australia and passed away in 2002.
Le Thanh Nhon graduated as valedictorian of the sculpture department at the Saigon - Gia Dinh Fine Arts College in 1963 and became a lecturer at the school. During the years 1970 - 1975, he taught and created works in many places in the Central region, including the Hue College of Fine Arts (now the University of Arts, Hue University).
