The 2025 Ky Thuong Cherry Blossom Festival is organized to realize the project “Ha Long – Festival City”. This is also the first time the festival is held in the mountainous commune of Ky Thuong - the farthest place in the city with nearly 900 people, over 98% of whom are ethnic minorities.

Ky Thuong commune possesses beautiful natural landscapes, intact ecosystems, roof-shaped mountain systems, many beautiful, pristine waterfalls hidden in the old forest, cool climate all year round... This place also bears the unique cultural identity of the Dao ethnic group. Ky Thuong cherry blossom area is an eco-tourism project accompanied by companies specializing in cherry blossom planting from Japan.
