At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of Pacific Construction Group to visit and work in the province. He affirmed that this is an important opportunity for the two sides to exchange information, learn and expand cooperation in the future.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy gave an overview of the province's natural, socio-economic conditions, potentials, strengths and investment orientations. With a border of over 333 km adjacent to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), the province has many favorable conditions for developing border gate economy. The province has 1 international border gate Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China), 3 pairs of bilateral border gates and many pairs of secondary border gates and border openings; in the coming time, the province will coordinate with Guangxi to continue recognizing the border gates Ta Lung (Vietnam) - Thuy Khau (China), Ly Van (Vietnam) - Thac Long (China) as international border gates.

In addition, Cao Bang has a long history and culture, along with famous landscapes, which are favorable conditions for sustainable tourism development. The province has 15 urban areas, with an urbanization rate of 25.5%; all urban areas have specific development programs with many potential projects (DA) that need to attract investment. With the goal of striving to become a province with a fast-growing, dynamic, green, sustainable and comprehensive economy by 2030; gradually forming a Vietnam - China freight and logistics transit center, an economic, cultural and foreign trade center between Vietnam and Guangxi, the Western and Southwestern provinces (China) and ASEAN countries. In the coming time, the province will continue to promote the development of a number of key infrastructure areas: transportation; urban areas; tourism; border gate infrastructure. The province is determined to resolutely implement solutions to innovate mechanisms and policies, improve the investment and business environment, and attract strategic investors.

Cao Bang always welcomes domestic and foreign investors, including Chinese investors, to survey, research, share, and implement investment cooperation activities in the province, on the basis of "mutual benefit". The province is committed to creating an attractive, transparent, and open investment and business environment; accompanying investors, promptly resolving all difficulties and problems in the investment process and production and business activities of enterprises.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy shared information about some important infrastructure projects that the province is calling for investment from ODA capital and non-refundable aid capital , including the projects: the East - West belt road of the City, about 16.5 km long, with a total investment of about 2,000 billion VND, when formed, it will create traffic connections with key domestic and foreign traffic routes of the province; construction of the City's drainage and wastewater treatment system, with an investment capital of about 2,000 billion VND; roads and bridges connecting the two wards of Hop Giang - Song Bang (City) and the embankment system and traffic roads on the left bank of Bang River with a total investment capital of about 1,000 billion VND.

With the Group's capacity and experience, the close relationship between the two countries China and Vietnam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy believes that the cooperation between the Group and localities of Vietnam in general and Cao Bang province in particular will increasingly expand and develop, with opportunities to deploy cooperation in investment projects in the coming time.
