According to Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, the conference aims to improve knowledge about creating, managing and developing intellectual property for individuals and production and business organizations.
Thereby, promoting the exploitation and development of intellectual property for enterprises, cooperatives, organizations and individuals in the area, focusing on localities with typical and unique products protected by intellectual property (IP). Promoting the important role of IP in economic development, considering it an invaluable asset of enterprises to create a position in the market.
At the conference, the lecturers conveyed to the trainees the contents of some policies and guidelines to support the development of intellectual property, start-ups, and innovation of the province; the role and significance of registering for intellectual property protection and forms of intellectual property protection for local specialties and key products; the process and procedures for registering intellectual property rights for specialties and key products; supporting individuals, organizations and members of associations and craft villages to exploit and develop intellectual property rights.
