Ninh Son: Conference to honor outstanding people with revolutionary contributions and launch support for the "Repaying gratitude" Fund in 2023

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), on July 24, the People's Committee of Ninh Son district organized a conference to honor outstanding people with revolutionary contributions and a launching ceremony to support the "Repaying gratitude" Fund in 2023.

Over the past year, in addition to the general policies of the Party and the State, the Party Committees, authorities at all levels, sectors in the district and the whole society have always cared for and taken care of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary veterans in both material and spiritual terms. During the year, 20 savings books worth over 100 million VND were presented on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023; support for the construction and repair of houses for 3 revolutionary veterans; one-time subsidies for 247 revolutionary veterans totaling 702.55 million VND... The works honoring the district's martyrs' monument and the memorials of the communes have all been repaired and renovated to contribute to creating a beautiful and solemn landscape to meet the visiting needs of cadres, people and martyrs' families.

To continue to do well the work of "Repaying gratitude" in the coming time, Ninh Son district will strengthen the propaganda of the Party and State's policies and regimes on NCC with the profound revolution among the people; implement the policy of subsidizing NCC in a timely and proper manner; strengthen the mobilization and calling for support for the "Repaying gratitude" fund; promote the role of associations, unions and the whole society in increasingly better caring for the material and spiritual life of NCC. At the ceremony, Ninh Son district called on agencies, organizations, units, enterprises and philanthropists to actively participate in supporting and building the "Repaying gratitude" fund in 2023; support one day's salary or more for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces; promote the role of associations, unions and the whole society in increasingly better caring for the material and spiritual life of NCC.

At the conference, the leaders of Ninh Son District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit and rewards to 12 individuals who are exemplary war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' relatives who have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
