The highlight of the past school year was that school officials and teachers continued to innovate teaching methods towards developing students' qualities and abilities; linking school education with real life, enhancing experiential and creative activities associated with the Science and Technology Competition for high school students. In particular, to bring STEM education into high schools and form STEM clubs for teachers and parents to accompany students in exploring and experiencing science and technology, in November 2022, the Department of Education and Training organized the Ninh Thuan Province STEM Festival for teachers and students of schools to participate in learning, sharing experiences, achievements, difficulties, problems and proposing solutions to effectively implement STEM education in the coming time. Thanks to that, this educational model has been gradually widely deployed to high schools, attracting a large number of teachers and students to participate and bring positive results. To improve the quality of the high school graduation exam, especially to improve the average score of the graduation exam subjects, right from the beginning of the school year, the Department of Education and Training directed high schools to organize workshops to improve the quality of teaching and learning of 8 subjects for the high school graduation exam from the group level to the school level from October 7 to 9, 2022, thereby analyzing, evaluating, drawing lessons, and proposing solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning. For the Department of Education and Training, a provincial workshop was organized based on the report on the results of the workshops of schools on improving the quality of teaching and learning of 8 subjects for the high school graduation exam on October 12, 2022. After the workshop, a written notice of the conclusion was issued for schools to develop plans, assign tasks, and focus on implementing solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning actively and effectively. Schools have also paid attention to early implementation of review, training, and tutoring for 12th graders with specific solutions suitable for students. The careful preparation of the Department of Education and Training and departments, branches, and localities has contributed to helping the high school graduation exam in particular, and the exams in 2023 in the province in general, take place safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations, with 96.71% of 12th graders passing the high school graduation exam, an increase of 0.98% compared to 2022.

Teachers and staff of schools have also effectively integrated the introduction of festivals and customs of ethnic minorities in the province into subjects such as Cham language, Raglai language, Civic education, History, Geography, Local education materials, etc. Thereby, contributing to preserving the national cultural identity.
