(Dan Tri) - On the evening of November 11, new coach Ruben Amorim was in Manchester and visited Man Utd's Carrington training center.
The Portuguese strategist went to Manchester with 5 colleagues, including 29-year-old assistant coach Carlos Fernandes, 28-year-old assistant Adelio Candido, 45-year-old assistant Emanuel Ferro, 65-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital and sports science expert Paulo Barreira.

Coach Ruben Amorim's private plane from Lisbon (Portugal) landed at Manchester Airport (UK) at around 2:00 p.m. on November 11 local time. Immediately after, the coach born in 1985 was escorted by police to Man Utd's Carrington training ground.
At Carrington, manager Ruben Amorim met with chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox. He then greeted the staff working at Man Utd.
However, coach Amorim has not been able to finalize the first working day with Man Utd players because he has not been granted a work visa.

Another obstacle for the new Man Utd manager is that most of the team will be away on international duty in the 2024-2025 UEFA Nations League. This could mean that Amorim's first training session with his new team will have to wait until after the November FIFA Days series.
In the meantime, Amorim will get used to the new environment and the Man Utd players who were not called up to the team on this FIFA Days occasion, including the English star trio Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo.
Coach Ruben Amorim has just finished his last match as head coach of Sporting Lisbon after winning 4-2 against Braga in the Portuguese national championship on the evening of November 10.
The 39-year-old tactician had an emotional farewell to his former club before taking up his new role at Man Utd. On November 11, Sporting Lisbon announced the appointment of B team coach Joao Pereira to replace Amorim with a contract until June 2027.

On the evening of November 11, the Manchester club also announced the future of coach Van Nistelrooy: "Man Utd can confirm that Ruud Van Nistelrooy has left the club. Van Nistelrooy returned in the summer and has been in charge of the team for the last 4 matches as interim head coach. Ruud has been and will always be a Man Utd legend.
We are grateful for his contribution and the way he has carried out his role during his time at the club. He will always be warmly welcomed at Old Trafford."
