Many meaningful gifts come to poor students in Thanh Hoa

On the afternoon of October 12, the Children's Support Fund under the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thanh Hoa province coordinated with sponsors to organize a program to present scholarships and gifts to disadvantaged children in Nga Son district.

In Nga Thien commune, representatives of the Children's Support Fund presented 10 scholarships and 200 backpacks to students from poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households; children of war invalids and martyrs; and families with revolutionary contributions.

In Nga Truong commune, the Children's Support Fund donated 15 computers to Nga Truong Primary School.

From the 2022-2023 school year, computer science has become a compulsory subject for students from grade 3. However, the facilities for this subject at Nga Truong Primary School are still limited, lacking a computer system, making teaching and learning computer science difficult.

"15 computers were installed in the computer room of Nga Truong Primary School to support, bring information technology, connect knowledge, help teachers and students of the school have better teaching and learning conditions," said Mr. Lai The Quang, Director of the Thanh Hoa Province Children's Support Fund.
