In the 2024-2025 City-level Excellent Student Competition for Grade 12 students organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, students of Asian International School continued to affirm their academic abilities with 10 awards in Literature, Biology, English and Physics.
Outstanding faces in the academic "arena"
One of the outstanding faces in this exam is Tran Hoang Duy Bao, who won Third Prize in English. Previously, he made his mark when he owned a "collection" of 18 prestigious medals from the international academic competition World Scholar's Cup (WSC) 2023, achieved IELTS 8.0, TOEFL ITP 643/677 points, and was honored to receive a certificate of merit and a commemorative medal from the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City with the title "Outstanding student studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings".
Tran Hoang Duy Bao is currently a student in grade 12/3 at Asian School, Van Thanh campus.
In the field of science, Truong Cam Dao (grade 12/20, Cao Thang campus) excellently won third prize in Physics. The male student also affirmed his research ability when he and his team won third prize in the City-level Science and Technology Competition with the project "Application of electromagnetic induction phenomenon in manufacturing a system to convert wave and wind energy into electricity to make light buoys, warning lights at sea and navigation lights in mountainous areas" . The project is considered to have high practical significance, contributing to solving current environmental challenges.

In Biology, Dao Nguyen Cat Tuong (grade 12/20, Cao Thang campus) shared the secret to success: "The important thing to be able to do the test effectively is to have a solid grasp of the fundamental knowledge and basic theory. Thanks to the dedicated guidance of the teachers, I can deeply understand and remember the core knowledge. In addition, the interesting practical lessons at school play an important role in helping me apply theory to practice effectively."
Meanwhile, Le Nhat Hoang (class 12/7, Nguyen Van Huong campus) - one of the students who won the Third Prize in English - excellently conquered IELTS 8.5, achieving a perfect score of 9.0 in the Listening section. Hoang said that regularly communicating in English with teachers and friends in extracurricular activities helped him practice better language reflexes. "During my time at the school, I always felt the dedicated care from the teachers. What impressed me most was the team of teachers who were highly qualified and very friendly, always ready to support students."
