The two ladies have different backgrounds when it comes to acting, but they share a passion for art and a strong love for their profession. During the days leading up to Tet, the two ladies are still working hard on the set.
This year, People's Artist Ngoc Giau made a beautiful impression with a supporting role in the movie "Mai" and many music videos, reformed opera with young actors.
Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu left a heartbreaking feeling through the MV "Sleeping by Mother's Feet" by musician Bac Son, performed by singer Lieu Ky to attend the Nikon Film Festival.
The two ladies are always on time at the set, enthusiastically setting an example for the younger generation of actors.

"Sometimes when I film in the morning, I wake up at 4am, then drive myself to the studio in Hoc Mon to film the first scenes of a movie. But I'm not tired, I still have enough energy to stand in front of the camera. Maybe because the Ancestor still loves me, I keep working diligently and still feel healthy" - Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu sincerely confided.
Her children have advised her many times to take a motorbike taxi, "imprisoning" her motorbike because she is old and has poor eyesight, making it difficult to control. But she has refused, afraid of the expense of filming far away, "when the salary is almost gone, what is left? If it still works well, I will just ride my motorbike" - she said.
Just like that, she acted out her character vividly. Then she rode her motorbike back home.
Looking at Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu, it is hard to guess how old she has been, from being a radio announcer to the Southern Opera troupe in the North, and then her career brought her to acting.

"I call her my grandmother, I learned a lot of experience from her and summarized many valuable lessons from her. In particular, my grandmother is not afraid of difficulties or hardships, even though she is old, she still works very meticulously" - the singer who won the championship of the "Bac Son Love Song" Contest in 2017 said.

The two veteran artists told stories about the show run before Tet to keep up with the progress of the MVs, which is always receiving thoughtful care from the young actors and singers. "There were cakes, drinks, sometimes even being carried to the filming location because they were afraid that my weak legs would get tired from the long journey. They loved me so much, so every time I finished filming and came back, I missed the set so much. Not only that, when filming, I got to celebrate Tet early, the houses near the filming location brought braised pork with eggs, pickled cucumbers, and pickled onions, I loved it" - People's Artist Ngoc Giau said.
She was most touched when many taxi or motorbike drivers did not accept money, gave her the fare and only asked to take a souvenir photo with her.
Most of the stories of the two female generals mention their dedicated guidance to the younger generation of artists.

Every look, every facial expression, every line must be genuine. She told artists that when they reach old age, they should not let their experiences become crippling. They should pass them on so that the flow of art can continue.
