Ngo Thanh Huyen won the title of Champion at the Sao Mai 2013 contest when she was only 17 years old. She impressed with her powerful voice. After the contest, despite having many opportunities to develop in showbiz, Ngo Thanh Huyen had a long period of silence.
Sharing the reason, Ngo Thanh Huyen said that besides improving herself, the thing that made her withdraw was because of the sudden death of her lover.
"After he passed away, I lost my balance in life for 5 years, closed my life and hardly wanted to communicate much with the outside world. There was a time when I was depressed, my mother found ways to help me overcome it, including sending me to live abroad for 4 years.
When I returned to Vietnam, I participated in some programs, was a judge in some competitions and realized that this was the time for me to come back," she confided.

On March 8, Ngo Thanh Huyen marked her return after 10 years of absence with the MV "Delete memories of you" . The 9X female singer did not hesitate to reveal that the details in the MV were taken from her own previous love affair.
The song, also composed by Ngo Thanh Huyen herself, is a gentle, profound ballad, expressing the feelings of a girl about an unfinished love, having to endure the separation of life and death.
Ngo Thanh Huyen shared: "We had a 3-year relationship with many memories. He even proposed and I thought we would have a happy wedding. Then he had an accident and passed away. The emotions during that period inspired me to write this song."
In the MV, Ngo Thanh Huyen co-stars with Vo Hoai Vu - the guy who caused a stir in the movie "Di giua troi ruc ro" . The beauty revealed that her co-star has many similarities with her ex in both appearance and personality.
Before filming, she told Hoai Vu about her story, thanks to which the two had a good combination. "All the scenes where Huyen cries were filmed only once. And those are Huyen's true feelings," she said.
