In which, Tuoi Tre Theater participated in "Street Stories in the Subsidy Period" recreating Hanoi during the ration stamp period through music, taking us back to the memories that are kept in the hearts of many generations of audiences. That was a time when life was still difficult and deprived, but people lived together simply and sincerely.
“Chuyen pho duoc thua” also hopes to spread the love for Hanoi, revive the memories of Hanoi in the past to further appreciate the past and contemporary values. And this surprise gift the Theater also wants to give to the women we love.
Along with “Chuyen pho thoi bien bien”, “Doi cuoi cuoi cuoi” – a brand and specialty of Northern comedy will continue to bring unique comedy skits with the creativity and juggling of talented artists. Laughter in harmony with the sounds revolving around life will be an interesting spiritual food for the audience on International Women’s Day, March 8.
Also participating in the programs on this occasion, the Vietnam Drama Theater will have special plays such as: "Good Man House Number 5", "Kieu" and "People in Memory". In which, the play "Good Man House Number 5" is the story of Hiep - an upright but lonely person because he does not compromise with evil. Living amidst the conflicts and fluctuations of a miniature society in a collective housing area, Hiep is pushed to the sidelines when he firmly maintains his principles. Between two choices: protecting ideals or preserving love, Hiep must face difficult challenges.
Adapted from a script by playwright Luu Quang Vu and directed by People's Artist Ta Tuan Minh, the play raises profound questions about morality and the value of kindness in modern society.
“The One in the Memory” is a work by playwright Luu Quang Vu, directed by Meritorious Artist Trinh Mai Nguyen. The play is deeply narrative, depicting the flow of memories, love and decisions that change fate. With a creative structure that interweaves real and unreal spaces, the work captivates the audience with the blend of emotions and authentic performances of talented artists.
As for "Kieu" (based on the work "Truyen Kieu" by the great poet Nguyen Du), it not only recreates the tragedy of Kieu's life but also deeply exploits the character's psychological developments, set in the context of a feudal society full of injustice.
In particular, the program has the participation of veteran artists combined with talented young artists of the Vietnam Drama Theater such as Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu, Meritorious Artist Trinh Mai Nguyen, Meritorious Artist Nong Dung Nam, Meritorious Artist Thuy Phuong, People's Artist Lam Tung, People's Artist Ta Tuan Minh... promising to bring interesting experiences to the capital's audience.
