Proud of the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

At the 2nd Central Committee Conference of the Party, which took place from March 20 to 26, 1931, the Party Central Committee set aside a day during the conference to discuss and decide on important issues regarding the Party's youth mobilization work. With the consent of the Politburo and Uncle Ho, and at the request of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Labor Youth Union, the 3rd National Congress of the Youth Union decided to take March 26, 1931 as the founding day of the Union. Since then, March 26 has become the traditional day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.

After 94 years of training, dedication and growth, under the leadership of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has continuously grown, truly becoming a socio-political organization of the youth, a reliable reserve force of the Party, a revolutionary shock force, representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the youth.

In the process of national renewal, the Youth Union has organized young volunteers to actively participate in the cause of innovation, emulation in labor, study, master science and technology, participate in digital transformation; compete in creativity and start-up; volunteer for community life; contribute to maintaining political security, ensuring social order and safety. Through the Youth Union's movements, especially studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, many outstanding young people have emerged in various fields, actively contributing to the industrialization and modernization of the country.

Continuing the glorious tradition of Vietnamese youth, Ninh Thuan youth are extremely proud of the glorious tradition of the Union and Ninh Thuan Youth Union through the ages. During the years of resistance, following the call of the Party, generations of Ninh Thuan Youth Union did not hesitate to sacrifice hardships, join the volunteer youth force, frontline laborers and heroically participate in the resistance such as: Ms. Popor Thi Du, Ms. Phan Thi Minh, Mr. Phu Nhu Lap, Mr. Ho Dac Dan; the feats of young people in participating in the movement to shoot down planes such as: Chamaléa Chap, 13 years old in Phuoc Thanh commune; Pinang Ly, 15 years old in Phuoc Chinh commune; Chamaléa Thi Thep, 19 years old in Phuoc Dai commune... Besides, there are many young people who have forever dedicated their youth to the spring of the country.

Especially in recent years, Ninh Thuan youth have shown a good spirit of shock, volunteerism, taking the lead in movements and actions, with many typical and outstanding activities such as: Youth Unions at all levels have effectively carried out 3 revolutionary action movements, 3 programs accompanying youth, Youth Month activities and the annual "Volunteer Summer" Campaign, green shirts appeared on all fronts, depicting the shock and volunteer role of youth that has contributed to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and skillful mass mobilization work at the grassroots level... Notably, right from the beginning of the year, responding to the call of the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", Ninh Thuan youth union members have promoted the spirit of "mutual love and affection" joining hands to contribute in the spirit of "whoever has something to help, whoever has merit to help merit, whoever has property to help property, whoever has little helps little, whoever has much helps much" with the Party Committee, The government implements social security goals, making achievements to welcome party congresses at all levels. In the digital transformation process, Ninh Thuan youth always affirms their pioneering role, youth unions at all levels in the province focus on implementing digital transformation projects, promoting the application of technology in production and business, supporting youth to start businesses and establish businesses.

The “Creative Youth” movement continues to be promoted with the goal of 250 ideas and initiatives being realized; 75% of young people accessing digital capacity building activities, aiming for 100% of young people using electronic payment accounts. In addition, programs to support young people in economic development, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture and innovative startups are also being focused on with the goal of 43.7 billion VND being supported for young people to borrow capital to start a business, establish a career, and do business, and 21 creative startup projects of young people are supported by the Youth Union to help promote the development of the province's young workforce in 2025.

Proud of the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over the past 94 years, proud of the achievements in socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province after 33 years of re-establishment under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee; at the same time, facing the current advantages, difficulties and challenges, Ninh Thuan youth are aware that the mission of the Youth Union today is an extremely heavy but extremely glorious responsibility, which is to constantly promote the spirit of initiative, innovation and creativity, bringing the country into a new era, an era of national growth.
