In the context of the Earth's increasingly scarce resources, safety issues and environmental pollution are pressing, finding friendly and energy-saving solutions has become a top priority. Using solar photovoltaic energy is a "smart scenario" for future applications in life, living, production... bringing outstanding value in all areas of economic and social development, especially being environmentally friendly.

Promoting the energy transition
The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts that global investment in solar power will surpass investment in oil production for the first time this year. The surge in clean energy development is expected to help curb emissions and promote a green energy transition on a global scale.
Key factors to promote the energy transition from “natural resources” to “technological innovation”:
- Close global collaboration in achieving carbon neutrality goals.
- Ensure energy security to achieve the goal of energy independence.
- Technological advances deliver business value.

According to the “World Energy Investment” report released by the IEA on May 25, total investment in clean energy is on track to reach $1.7 trillion in 2023 as investors shift to renewable energy, electric vehicles, nuclear power, grids, storage and other low-carbon technologies - up about 25% from 2021. Factors such as high oil and gas prices and supply concerns have driven the growth of renewable energy.
“If these clean energy investments continue to grow in line with what we have seen over the past few years, we will soon start to see a very different energy system emerging that can sustain the 1.5C target,” IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol told the Financial Times.
EA expects investment in solar energy to reach $380 billion, while investment in oil exploration and production will be at $370 billion.

Sao Mai Solar - the unit that reached the finish line early
Currently, the Vietnamese Government and some other countries are in the process of drafting a plan for a sustainable green energy transition roadmap. For example, Norway has taken steps to promote solar energy development such as: government buildings are required to install solar panels from the beginning of 2024...
However, a new bright spot in the renewable energy picture is a company in the West - Sao Mai Solar. With a strategic vision, this unit has quickly opened its mouth, fully exploiting the "fertility" of the solar power market. Seizing opportunities, the right path to a spectacular finish line are phrases that can be mentioned when talking about Sao Mai Solar.

The speed of project completion and commercial power supply is considered "lightning fast" due to the determination and efforts of this investor. The completion time is less than 1 year for a huge project, the largest in the Mekong Delta at that time, on an area of 275 hectares in Tinh Bien district - An Giang province, with a capacity of 210 MWp.
In the future, investment capital for "green energy project chains" will quickly exceed the delta region and "pour" into other highland provinces such as Dak Nong, Dak Lak, etc.
Since its operation, An Hao Solar Power Plant has connected to the national grid over 400 million kWh/year, contributing to solving the power shortage. It also plays an important role in developing the local economy, creating jobs for the majority of rural workers and ethnic minorities.
It is known that Mr. Le Tuan Anh, CEO of Sao Mai Group, is the one who proposed new, creative ideas, keeping up with the trend of green energy development as an optimal solution in the context of the ongoing global energy crisis. And now he has successfully entered this completely new energy industry.

In addition, Sao Mai Solar also consults and designs highly flexible rooftop solar power suitable for all production models from household businesses to large industrial factories. The goal is to support businesses in solving the problem of how to cut electricity costs while maintaining product quality and minimizing emissions to the environment.
This solution has helped many industries move to a low-carbon era with optimized electricity costs, active safety, smart operation and maintenance. This unit even aims at storage technology, smart control updated with the world's advanced trends.

Sao Mai Solar makes a great contribution to the green energy transition, providing breakthrough solutions for all scenarios, helping to accelerate the development of solar power and energy storage. Vietnam wants to win big in this field, it needs great political determination; synchronous and comprehensive coordination from all stakeholders; consensus of the people and the business community.
