In the past 5 years, the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, 11th and 13th tenures, on “Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation”, the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, 10th tenure, on “Vietnam's marine strategy to 2020”, the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, 12th tenure, on “Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, vision to 2045” has been seriously implemented; under the direction of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of National Defense, directly the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Party Committee, the Navy Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels have regularly paid attention to leading, directing, and comprehensively, systematically and in-depthly implementing the contents of the solutions for the program to coordinate propaganda on seas and islands with the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government and 16 Central agencies and press agencies nationwide. Every year, the Navy coordinates with the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committees, the Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government and the Party Committees of agencies and units... to send more than 1,600 cadres and reporters to directly propagate about the sea and islands to more than 1.3 million cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, students and people in localities nationwide. |

The propaganda content focuses on key issues such as the law on Vietnam's seas and islands and relevant international treaties to which Vietnam is a member; the position and importance of the seas and islands; the practical situation in our country's seas and islands; the legal basis to affirm Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; the plots and sabotage tricks of hostile forces and new moves of foreign countries in the East Sea; the results of the struggle to protect sovereignty of forces on duty at sea; the viewpoints of the Party and State in resolving disputes at sea by peaceful means on the basis of international law. From there, it helps cadres, party members and people clearly perceive the complex, fierce and long-term nature of the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the seas and islands of the Fatherland; have absolute confidence in the leadership of the Party, the management and administration of the State; share the difficulties and hardships of the forces on duty at the front line of the Fatherland; Resolutely fight and refute wrong views, fabricated information, and false information of hostile forces, aiming to sabotage our Party, State, and Army. |

Every year, the Navy welcomes more than 6,000 reporters from news agencies and newspapers inside and outside the Army to gain practical experience, collect propaganda materials on the activities of the Navy, publish more than 60,000 news articles, reports... on newspapers, radio stations, electronic news sites of central and local agencies on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws related to the sea and islands; legal basis, historical evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; on the results of the construction, development and implementation of the Navy's tasks; reflect and propagate the lives of soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district, DK-I platform; typical examples of progress in performing tasks; Results of training, combat readiness, competitions and sports organized by the Navy; Results of implementing the Program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea"; Activities of "Navy sponsoring fishermen's children". In the coming time, the Party Committee, the Navy Command, the Provincial Party Committees, the City Party Committees and 16 agencies and units nationwide will coordinate to effectively implement 9 key solutions in implementing the program of coordination of propaganda on seas and islands. First of all, focus on thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the leadership of the Party, the direction and guidance of the Central Committee, comprehensively, synchronously and in-depthly implementing the program of coordination of propaganda on seas and islands in a broad, practical and effective manner. Comprehensively and flexibly apply many forms and propaganda measures suitable for each locality, unit, area, time, object, characteristics and specific conditions. Coordinate with 28 coastal provinces and cities to promote the implementation of Directive No. 32-CT/TW dated April 10, 2024 of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and sustainable development of the fisheries sector"; Directive 45/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on a number of urgent tasks and solutions to overcome the European Commission's warning on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing; continue to effectively implement the Program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea", the activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children". Units in the Navy closely coordinate with agencies and localities to focus on successfully implementing the signed programs and plans. Continue to maintain the existing coordination mechanism, improve the quality of propaganda content, carry out effective and safe activities and create all favorable conditions for reporters of press agencies to work at the unit.
