After 3 years of studying at leading aviation schools in France, Canada and Italy, 8 students of the first course completed the training program and graduated with honors.
On the morning of February 9, a representative of the Vietnam Aviation Academy said that recently, on February 7, the Vietnam Aviation Academy held a graduation ceremony for the first DH-C6 seaplane pilot training program. This is a training program for the Vietnam Navy.
Attending the graduation ceremony were Heroic Pilot - Colonel Nguyen Van Nghia (former Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy); Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Hoai An, Chairman of the Council of Vietnam Aviation Academy; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang said that the Vietnam Aviation Academy is very honored to be entrusted by the Navy with the task of training future military pilots of the Vietnam People's Army.
Accordingly, the close coordination between the two sides not only creates a systematic, serious, and internationally standardized training program, but also ensures that each returning pilot has sufficient political will, knowledge and skills to serve in the Naval Air Force.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy, congratulated the pilots on successfully completing the training program.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang added that looking back at the journey of pilot trainees who have completed the training program, we see their tireless efforts.
From the first days of entering the Academy, students are equipped with a foundation of general English, specialized English, and basic aviation knowledge, until they set foot in ENAC, one of the prestigious pilot training schools in the French Republic, and then the months of hard training on the DHC-6 in the Republic of Malta with partner Nordic.
Every step of the trainees requires perseverance, discipline and an iron will to be able to complete the training topics with the high standards of the established training program.
According to Vietnam Aviation Academy, after 3 years of training at the Aviation Academy and France, Italy, Canada with English from basic (IELTS 5.5) to advanced ICAO aviation English, training, granting commercial pilot certificates and instrument flight certificates, flight crew coordination certificates, training, granting certificates for single-engine and twin-engine seaplane pilots and converting DHC-6 series 400 seaplane pilots...

The Rear Admiral shared with the pilots that they need to continue to improve their political qualities, strive to promote the knowledge and professional qualifications they have been trained to become good pilots, have safe flights; contribute to firmly protecting the airspace and sea of the fatherland.
Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan also suggested that after the graduation ceremony, Brigade 954, Navy, receive the students for management while waiting for the decision on transfer and appointment from the Ministry of National Defense.
