From July 18, singer Lam Truong will release his first product, Gentle Memory (composed by Bao Chan) - part of the MV series of the Lam Truong Acoustic project.

In this series, Lam Truong recorded some new familiar hits and made 5 MVs in European countries such as France, Switzerland...

The highlight of each MV is the harmony of delicate music, rustic vocals and magnificent Western scenery. Lam Truong and his crew exploit the diverse beauty of natural lakes, snow-capped mountains, canola fields, cities... at many famous locations.

Sending the crew to travel around European countries for many days cost a lot of money. However, when seeing the finished product, Lam Truong was completely satisfied.

To have a good image, Lam Truong tried to lose weight by exercising and following a scientific diet. In addition, he and musician Smelod (Nhat Minh) also participated in a 7-day body detox program, losing 6kg.

"Before, sometimes when I heard fans or relatives complaining about weight gain, I felt a bit sad and offended, but not anymore. However, as a public figure, I always want to appear in the most neat image," he shared.

Lam Truong shared with VietNamNet that the Lam Truong Acoustic project was part of the reason why he could not participate in the show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai .

"Many people think I'm shy, afraid of losing my image or too safe. In fact, when I announced my performance schedule, the program crew understood why I couldn't participate. In addition, I need to focus on a certain amount of time to complete Lam Truong Acoustic . I want fans to see more of a fresh and dramatic Lam Truong, but unfortunately I have to refuse," the singer said.

Lam Truong feels lucky that at the age of 50, he is still in demand and loved by the audience. However, his busy performance schedule from the US, Europe, Australia... to Vietnam often causes him to suffer from jet lag.

At certain times of the year, singers will refuse to accept shows, focus on making personal products or spend time with family.

By making Lam Truong Acoustic , he wants to respond to the love of generations of audiences who have followed and supported him for many years.

When asked about conquering new audiences, the 7X singer admitted that he is not the type of singer who is talkative and interesting to young people. However, he always cherishes a musical plan to approach Generation Z listeners.

Specifically, he accepted to reduce his ego to change the way he sang and arranged the music, thereby creating a new image of Lam Truong, close to the youth. He cited the song " Tomorrow I'll Go" which was remade by Le Hieu and producer Touliver, creating an impressive spread and being loved by many young audiences.

Lam Truong feels that today's artists always show favoritism towards his generation. SpaceSpeakers once expressed their desire to make a collaboration product, but he was busy performing so he couldn't implement it.

According to Lam Truong, products that renew oneself only need to be moderate, suitable for one's age, not necessarily too youthful and trendy like Son Tung M-TP.
