Trang Phap unexpectedly nominated at "Berlin Music Video Awards"
Her MV "Bê Trap" was named in the Best Art Director category. This year's "Berlin Music Video Awards" also featured many international artists such as Lisa, Weeknd, Travis Scott, and Despacito hitmaker Luis Fonsi in other categories.
The MV "Be Trap" has many breakthroughs in music and images. Inspired by images from many cultures, the audience can easily recognize the familiarity of the palanquin, the silk reeling frame in East Asian culture or the makeup style and setting with a strong Western science fiction feel.
According to Trang Phap, since she was a child, she has had an endless passion for astronomy and the universe, so she wants to incorporate these elements into her new product. She wants to portray other aspects of herself through the MV.
Bringing Vietnamese music to the international arena has always been the singer's desire. "Be Trap" is currently the only Vietnamese MV nominated in the main categories of this annual international music video award.
The organizers have not yet announced all the categories for this year's awards. The BVMA Festival and Awards will take place from June 12 to 14 in Berlin, Germany.
