On the afternoon of March 11, in Buon Ma Thuot City, EDE Farm Trading and Service Company Limited (MISS EDE) and Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Dak Lak) held a press conference to inform about some contents of coffee export and production cooperation....

Attending the press conference were leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City, representatives of the two companies, and partners from Korea and the United States.

During the press conference, the leaders of the two companies announced a commitment to long-term cooperation between Simexco Dak Lak and MISS EDE on the export coffee supply chain that meets the European Union's non-encroachment certificate for natural forests.

Simexco Dak Lak commits to fully meet the output and cultivation area data clearly identified by data verified by 4C-EUDR and Rainforest Alliance-EUDR certificates (when completed) for MISS EDE when receiving orders aiming to export to the EU market.

MISS EDE is committed to fully complying with the legal regulations of each certificate to ensure the provision of complete information on the exact raw material area provided by Simexco Dak Lak, while serving the retrieval of EUDR information for consumers and law enforcement agencies of EU countries.

Also at this press conference, MISS EDE officially announced the export of the 2nd and 3rd containers with nearly 42,000 packages of finished ground coffee under the MISS EDE brand to the US market in late March to early April 2025.

Mr. Tran Duc Nhat, Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee, said that Dak Lak is the coffee capital of Vietnam and is strongly shifting to a sustainable production model that meets international standards.

According to Mr. Nhat, Simexco and Miss EDE are pioneers in applying strict European standards on traceability, forest protection and ensuring farmers’ benefits. This cooperation contributes to putting Dak Lak coffee on the world map as a high-quality, transparent and sustainable product.

“The city government will continue to support businesses in trade promotion, improve logistics infrastructure, and promote specialty coffee. At the same time, it is committed to creating a favorable environment for coffee businesses to develop sustainably, aiming to build Buon Ma Thuot into a “World Coffee City,” said Mr. Nhat.

In addition, Mr. Nhat also affirmed that the United States is a market with great potential, and MISS EDE's export of 2 containers to this market marks an important step in conquering American consumers with high-quality coffee from Dak Lak.

Also at this press conference, MISS EDE and The Nanum Trading Company from Korea officially signed a bilateral trade cooperation agreement, opening up new development opportunities in two key markets.
