DNVN - On the morning of March 12, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) at banks tended to decrease, while the exchange rate between the Chinese Yuan (CNY) and the US Dollar (USD) tended to increase.
According to the State Bank, the central exchange rate today was announced at 24,758 VND/USD, down 5 VND compared to the trading session on the morning of March 11. The ceiling exchange rate today according to the +/-5% amplitude is 25,996 VND/USD, while the floor rate is 23,520 VND/USD. Currently, the reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Exchange is listed at 23,575 - 25,951 VND/USD (buy - sell).
At the commercial banking system, at 8:30 a.m., Vietcombank and BIDV listed the USD exchange rate at 25,290 - 25,650 VND/USD (buy - sell). Compared to the opening price on the morning of March 11, the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank decreased by 50 VND in both directions, while BIDV also adjusted it down by 40 VND.
For the CNY, at Vietcombank, the exchange rate is currently listed at 3,469 - 3,580 VND/CNY (buy - sell), up 9 VND in both directions compared to the morning of March 11. BIDV also raised the CNY buying price by 9 VND and the selling price by 10 VND, currently trading at 3,485 - 3,582 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
