According to Gadget Match , it's been a long time since Microsoft announced its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, but the two companies' deal is still facing many obstacles from regulators, due to concerns that it will hinder competition in the industry.
PlayStation's Project Q handheld game console
Microsoft is now trying to defend its deal in court. And in the process, the tech giant leaked the price of its competitor's upcoming PlayStation Project Q device.
Accordingly, a Microsoft court document, intended to explain how the company operates, was found to contain some information about Sony. Specifically, in a footnote at the bottom of the page, Microsoft revealed that "Sony is also expected to release a handheld version of the PlayStation 5 later this year for under $300."
The caption doesn't specify what the device is, but given Sony's recent announcement of Project Q, it's likely that it's the company's upcoming handheld.

Project Q isn't strictly a portable gaming console. Instead, it will use Remote Play to stream games from a PlayStation console. Since Project Q isn't strictly a gaming console, fans were hoping that the device would be more affordable than a PlayStation. Now, with Microsoft's leak, fans have a clearer look at Project Q.
