Coach Jurgen Klopp highly appreciates Federico Chiesa's talent
Looking ahead to the new 2023/24 season, Liverpool have decided to add star winger Federico Chiesa to their priority list in the transfer market.
For months, Liverpool have been trying to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah. Now, The Kop is also at risk of losing Luis Diaz - a player who has always wanted to play for Barca.
Coach Jurgen Klopp quickly deployed the necessary plans to avoid Liverpool's squad having any gaps. The German coach highly appreciated Chiesa's comprehensiveness.
Chiesa's influence with Juventus and the Italian national team is huge. The 26-year-old returned from injury and played an important role in helping the "Azzurri" qualify for EURO 2024.
Juventus are in the race for the Scudetto (Italian national championship) and coach Max Allegri is looking to keep Chiesa. Liverpool are willing to pay double the €5m after tax that the former Fiorentina player is currently earning (or nearly £85,000/week, the same as Joe Gomez), to lure him to Anfield.

Barca looking for player to replace seriously injured Gavi
Barca officials are turning to the English football market to find a replacement for Gavi, who suffered a serious injury due to the "FIFA virus".
One of Barca's solutions is Giovani Lo Celso, a player that coach Xavi Hernandez wanted in previous transfer windows but failed.
Lo Celso is owned by Tottenham but has not had many opportunities to play. He has only played 38 minutes in the Premier League this season, and 45 minutes in the League Cup.
The 27-year-old midfielder is ready to leave Tottenham to get more playing time, with the hope of a place in the Argentina squad for the 2024 Copa America and, further, the 2026 World Cup.
Barca's demand is that the new player's salary does not exceed 80% of Gavi's income to avoid violating financial regulations in La Liga. A loan deal with a part-salary payment is the right option.

MU strongly reformed the defense
According to sources from France, after recent approaches, MU is facing a great opportunity to recruit Nice's central defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
MU is aiming for a strong defense reform, including the possibility of parting ways with Raphael Varane.
MU's scouting team has been following Todibo for a long time. The French player is considered to have the ability to bring a breakthrough to the Old Trafford team.
Todibo's contract runs until 2027. However, the 23-year-old centre-back is considering a move to English football in the near future.
Barca will receive 20% of the proceeds from the sale of Todibo (for example, they will receive 8 million Euros if the deal is approved at 40 million Euros). Therefore, the Catalan club is influencing MU to complete the transfer soon.

Antoine Griezmann refused to join MU
MU is willing to triple Antoine Griezmann's salary to lure him away from Atletico Madrid, but the French striker is said to have no intention of leaving Spain.
Antoine Griezmann is in MU's sights, in the context that coach Erik ten Hag wants to improve the worrying attack line which has only scored one goal since the beginning of the season.
A few days ago, El Nacional even announced that MU was willing to pay 3 times the salary Griezmann received at Atletico Madrid to convince the 32-year-old star to join Old Trafford. If he agrees, Griezmann will have a huge income of 21 million Euros/year.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Griezmann has been happy with life in Spain and has no intention of leaving.
“Griezmann will not leave Atletico Madrid. From what I know, he loves this club – the city, the fans, his teammates and Diego Simeone. He will stay.
“In the summer, Griezmann was approached by Saudi Arabian clubs and he immediately rejected them, without any negotiations because Antoine loves life at Atletico. I don’t think he will be tempted by any offers from all over Europe, especially in the winter transfer window (January 2024).”
Some other sources pointed out that it is unlikely that Griezmann will go to MU, although the Red Devils' representative is said to have flown all the way to Spain to meet with the striker to discuss a potential transfer.
The reason is that in the past, the French star revealed that he almost moved to the Premier League to play football but still decided to refuse because he felt "very comfortable" in Spain. And the team he admires most in the foggy country is Liverpool!
“I had a lot of fun playing in La Liga. We have something that the Premier League doesn't have, which is the Sun.
In terms of the teams I admire, I have to say Liverpool because of the passion of the fans. Hopefully one day they will win the Premier League again…”.
