Coach Kim Sang-sik: Tien Linh will do well in Nguyen Xuan Son's role

Tien Linh will be the hope in the attack of the Vietnamese team when Xuan Son is absent.

Regarding the Laos team, Mr. Kim Sang-sik said that this opponent has changed in terms of force compared to the ASEAN Cup 2024. "Compared to the ASEAN Cup 2024, Laos has added 3 Lao players. They are stronger than before, so we cannot be subjective. We have discussed with the players the situation of Laos, and at the same time have a plan for the match" - Mr. Kim Sang-sik said.

Striker Nguyen Tien Linh shared that he has recovered 100% of his physical strength and is ready for the match against Laos. According to Nguyen Tien Linh, playing at home in Binh Duong is the motivation for him to play better. Winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship is also an inspiration for the Vietnamese team to confidently enter the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
