On March 24, Thanh Hoa FC held a ceremony to introduce new head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner. The Croatian strategist was chosen to replace coach Velizar Popov. After the match between Thanh Hoa and Hai Phong in the quarter-finals of the National Cup, the Thanh Hoa team and coach Popov decided to terminate the contract ahead of schedule.

At the end of 2024, coach Tomislav Steinbruckner and the home team reached an agreement to terminate the contract.
In the coming time, Mr. Tomislav will face a big challenge in the task of reviving Thanh Hoa Club. The Central representative has 26 points after 15 rounds, still has a chance to compete for medals in the 2024/25 season. They have also just announced the signing of fitness coach Bradasic - who worked alongside Tomislav Steinbruckner at Terengganu Club.

The 59-year-old coach's debut match is an away match against Hanoi FC on April 6.
