Funeral service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at his hometown, Lai Da village

The District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh District (Hanoi) have announced the organization of a memorial service and memorial service for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, at his hometown in Lai Da village, Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district (Hanoi).

Visitation from 7:00 a.m. on July 25 to 12:30 p.m. on July 26, memorial service from 1:00 p.m. on July 26, at Lai Da Village Cultural House, Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District.

Dong Anh District People's Committee also made some notes: The Organizing Committee has prepared a rotating wreath; the visiting delegations proactively printed black ribbons to attach to the wreath (black cloth ribbons measuring 1.2m x 0.2m, with the white words "Respectful Visitation", below is a small line with the name of the agency, organization, or individual).

The family wishes to be exempted from paying money, fruit, condolence gifts, and funeral rites from organizations and individuals when visiting.

Attire for men: Dark suit, long-sleeved white shirt, black tie, black shoes. For women: Black ao dai or dark shirt, black shoes or sandals.

Dong Anh District People's Committee also suggested that groups arrange to share cars to reduce traffic pressure.
