According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in Hanoi - where the memorial service and funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will take place, the weather is basically favorable, hot and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night.

People need to pay attention to the routes that are completely prohibited from traffic from now until 2:30 p.m., including: Tang Bat Ho, Pham Dinh Ho (from Lo Duc to Tang Bat Ho), Nguyen Cong Tru (from Lo Duc to Tran Thanh Tong), Yec-Xanh, Tran Thanh Tong, Nguyen Huy Tu, Le Quy Don (from Nguyen Cao to Yec-Xanh), Nguyen Cao (from Le Quy Don to Nguyen Huy Tu), Hang Chuoi (from Han Thuyen to Nguyen Cong Tru) and Tran Khanh Du street (from Tran Hung Dao to Le Quy Don).

From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Ho Tung Mau route (from Le Duc Tho to Nguyen Co Thach).

Since early this morning (July 26), thousands of people have lined up on the streets around the locations where the funeral ceremonies for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong were held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, waiting to pay their respects to the General Secretary.

At 6:50 a.m. on July 26, the National Funeral Home opened its doors to allow people to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. At this time, the streets in front of the gate were already crowded with people.

According to the Funeral Organizing Committee, the memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 26 at the National Funeral House, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

Funeral at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.

The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held at the same time at Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City and at his hometown in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi.

The Funeral Organizing Committee said that from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on July 25, 1,565 delegations (with about 55,600 people), representing leaders of the Party, State, ministries, sectors, organizations, localities, units, people's armed forces, diplomatic delegations, representatives of international organizations and friends, and compatriots came to pay their respects, send wreaths, and express condolences to the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
