Da Lat Flower Festival receives “double” Asian Festival Awards 2025

The 2025 Global Festival Summit, organized by the International Festival and Events Association of Asia (IFEA ASIA), with the theme “Festivals, World Cultural Heritage and Night Economy”, took place from March 19-21 in Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang Province (South Korea).

Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Vice Chairman of Da Lat City received the award.

Within the framework of the conference, on the evening of March 20, Da Lat Flower Festival was honored to receive a "double" of awards, namely: Asian Festival Award 2025 - category "Asian Flower and Garden Festival 2025"; Asian Peak Award - category "Most Environmentally Friendly Festival".

In 2003, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the establishment and development of Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province organized a special cultural and tourism event with activities to promote, introduce and attract investment in the flower industry. This event is considered the starting point for today's flower festivals. In 2004, Da Lat continued to organize the event "Da Lat Flower Festival".

By 2009, Da Lat became the only city in Vietnam approved by the Prime Minister as the "Flower Festival City".

Since then, Da Lat Flower Festival has become a national and international cultural and tourism festival, and is also a unique brand of Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, held every two years.

By 2024, Da Lat has successfully organized 10 Flower Festivals. Da Lat Flower Festival contributes greatly to attracting domestic and international tourists to Lam Dong.
