According to Bac Giang Provincial Police, on March 21, Viet Lap Commune Police received a report from Mr. PVX, a local resident, that on March 20, his bank account received 7 billion VND from the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (the account name of a business in Hanoi). Mr. X requested Viet Lap Commune Police to assist in verifying the transfer of the above amount.

Viet Lap Commune Police reported and were directly coordinated by the commander and officers of the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police to verify the incident.

At 2:00 p.m. on March 21, Ms. TTBX - representative of the unit that mistakenly transferred the money and representative of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank went to the headquarters of Viet Lap Commune Police to work and provide related documents.

Receiving the mistakenly transferred money back, the unit representative was very moved and thanked Mr. X and the officers and soldiers of Viet Lap Commune Police, the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police.

Mr. X shared that he and his family regularly seek knowledge and read and listen to articles and news reports on preventing fraud and property appropriation crimes on the Internet, including the article on "Warning about fraudulent tricks of transferring money by mistake". Therefore, when he received the above amount of money, he went to the police agency for coordination and support.
