Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force recently held a conference to summarize the implementation of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.
Colonel Dao Quoc Khang, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Division 370 chaired the conference. Attending the conference was Colonel Tran Manh Cuong, Division Commander of Division 370.
Over the past time, Party committees and commanders at all levels in the entire 370th Division have thoroughly grasped and implemented the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army and resolutions, directives, and documents at all levels guiding the implementation of the Law to ensure strict, serious, synchronous implementation, close to the situation and tasks of the unit.
Agencies and units have proactively innovated and diversified models and forms of dissemination and education of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.
The thorough understanding and serious and effective implementation of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army has significantly contributed to building a strong cadre team of Division 370, meeting the requirements of the mission, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical", meeting the requirements of building a "Revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern" Division in the new situation.
At the conference, the opinions presented focused on analyzing the advantages of the current Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, and at the same time discussed in depth, pointing out the difficulties, obstacles and inadequacies in implementing the regulations on basic positions and equivalent positions and titles.
Along with that, opinions also mentioned the implementation of regulations on the age of active service of officers, the consideration of promotion, salary increase of officers, the implementation of regulations on reserve officers, regulations on regimes and policies for officers and their family members, especially the salary regime and housing and land regime according to the provisions of the Law...
The comments recommended that competent authorities should develop and implement a new salary scale for officers to improve the quality of life of military officers.
Research and issue specific documents and instructions regulating the ceiling of military ranks, equivalent titles, and specific position coefficients for each group of subjects suitable for the unit, and comprehensively regulate subjects entitled to benefits and policies according to the list of occupations, arduous, toxic, dangerous jobs and especially arduous, toxic, dangerous jobs...
At the same time, competent authorities need to pay attention to continuing to effectively implement social housing and public housing projects for military officers and soldiers, contributing to ensuring good rear for the families of officers and soldiers.
