Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Press Festival, said that preparations for booths on Le Loi Street have been basically completed, and the units said they will be completed by around 9:00 p.m. tonight.
"As content creators, the booths of the press agencies are very vividly presented, typical of each agency. In particular, the television press agencies are equipped with electronic equipment and professionally set up studios. I believe that this will bring wonderful experiences to visitors," the Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee commented.

This year, with the support of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Vietnam Journalists Association brought the Press Festival to the city named after Uncle Ho for the first time, with the desire to create favorable conditions for all levels of the Journalists Association, press agencies and the press public in the South to enthusiastically participate and join in the common joy of the festival of journalists.
Accordingly, the 2024 National Press Conference chaired by the Vietnam Journalists Association and organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from March 15-17.
This year's National Press Festival opens at 8am on March 15 on Le Loi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, and City People's Voice. The closing ceremony will take place at 8am on March 17, and will be broadcast live on Voice of Vietnam, City Television, and City People's Voice.
The National Press Forum will take place on March 15 and 16 at REX Hotel, 141 Nguyen Hue Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2024 National Press Festival with the theme "Vietnamese Press - Pioneering, Innovating for the Revolutionary Cause of the Party and People" will be a highlight of the professionalism and modernity of the press, clearly demonstrating the quality and scale of professional activities, exhibitions and displays, as well as unique cultural and artistic programs.
The 2024 National Press Festival brings together more than 600 central and local press agencies, including nearly 300 press agencies and all levels of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 63 provinces and cities across the country participating in displaying newspapers and introducing products on Le Loi Boulevard.
The units brought 112 special press exhibition booths of newspapers and magazines from popular to specialized, of major journalism training institutions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, covering all aspects of economic - political - cultural - social - defense - security - foreign affairs. Including 8 special exhibition booths of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Military Press, Public Security Press, Government Electronic Information Portal, National Assembly Office. In addition, there is an exhibition area about the history of Vietnamese press.
In addition, the 2024 Press Conference will also organize for the first time a National Press Forum with large-scale professional activities, with the participation of more than 60 speakers who are experienced journalists, leaders of leading press agencies in Vietnam, and prestigious international media experts.
