On the morning of March 26, a clip was circulated on social media recording a mother and her child playing in front of their house when suddenly a neighbor couple came over, cursed them, and then broke into their house to assault them. Only when many neighbors came to intervene did the couple stop and return home.

Just a few hours after appearing on social media, the clip attracted thousands of views, hundreds of shares and thousands of comments. Most of the comments said that the neighbor couple’s actions were arrogant and hooligan…

According to the reporter's investigation, the incident in the above clip took place on the afternoon of March 25 at the house of Ms. Doan Thi Lien (born in 1990; in Quarter 10, Hai Cang Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province).

According to Ms. Lien, at around 5:00 p.m. on March 25, her child, the General Secretary (born in 2018), was playing on the street in front of her house. A moment later, while the mother and child were playing and talking in front of the house, a neighbor couple suddenly came over and cursed the child for being "rude and unruly".

The couple then broke into the house, beat and choked Ms. Lien and threatened her child T. The incident stopped after some nearby residents intervened. Ms. Lien then extracted the camera video and reported the incident to the Hai Cang Ward Police.

Then, the husband of Ms. Lien's neighbor also entered the house with his wife to assault Ms. Lien.

Ms. Lien said that after being attacked by her neighbors, she suffered from scratches and pain. As for T., because he witnessed the incident, he was extremely scared.

Regarding the above incident, the leader of Hai Cang Ward Police said that they had received a report from Ms. Doan Thi Lien and were verifying it to handle it according to regulations.
