After Uncle Ho passed away on September 2, 1969, the historical relic complex of President Ho Chi Minh was formed in the Presidential Palace area, with special value and significance. Through many historical changes and fierce wars, the heritage of Uncle Ho's residence and workplace at the Presidential Palace has always been safely and carefully protected. On August 12, 2009, the President Ho Chi Minh relic complex was ranked as a special national relic by the Prime Minister in the first phase.

Ms. Le Thi Phuong - Director of the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace said that all of Uncle Ho's documents and artifacts are being preserved intact as they were when he lived and worked.

Therefore, the workshop is a practical activity to evaluate the work of preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage; to absorb valuable experiences from previous generations, management units, and scientists to continue to better perform the task of preserving, conserving, and promoting the value of special national cultural heritage; so that Ho Chi Minh's ideology and moral example can spread more and more strongly.

According to Prof. Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the value of Uncle Ho's legacy in the relic site is reflected in the imprint of his vibrant revolutionary life; revolutionary ideology, lifestyle in harmony with nature, and simple, noble lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Associate Professor Dr. Do Van Tru, Chairman of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, affirmed that the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace is a "sacred temple", gathering and spreading the example of his ideology, morality and style. According to Mr. Tru, working in the relic site is a great honor for cadres and employees.

Therefore, according to the Chairman of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, it is necessary to develop a specific program and plan for the next 5-10 years with activities here.

Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, President of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi, said that in the flow of culture in general and spiritual culture in particular, the belief in worshiping meritorious people is a sustainable bridge connecting tradition to modernity.

Over time, through the worship of meritorious people, the wisdom of "compatriots", the morality of gratitude and repayment are eternal values, which have gradually permeated into generations of Vietnamese people, creating an endogenous cultural strength in the process of integration and development, affirming the longevity of the nation.
