Speaking to review the tradition, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that the victory on March 31 to liberate Binh Dinh was a shining symbol of patriotism and indomitable spirit, a wonderful heroic epic of the noble sacrifice and steadfast revolutionary will of our army and people; the result of our Party's skillful war leadership and direction; the result of the lightning-fast, daring, unexpected, and sure-to-win attack of the people's armed forces; of the strong, fierce, and widespread uprising of all classes of people in the province; an important contribution to the victory of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, creating the great victory of the Spring of 1975, bringing the long march full of sacrifices and hardships for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland to final victory.

Inheriting and promoting the indomitable tradition of the heroic homeland of Binh Dinh, right after the liberation day, together with the whole country, the Party Committee and people of Binh Dinh embarked on the task of healing the wounds of war and rebuilding the homeland. Although having to overcome a series of difficulties and obstacles in all aspects due to the severe consequences of the war, with the continuous efforts over the past 50 years, especially since implementing the Party's renovation policy, the Party Committee, government, people and army of Binh Dinh have united to overcome difficulties and challenges and have achieved important achievements in all fields of economy, culture, society, national defense, security, etc.

The economy, which was almost completely destroyed during the war, has been gradually restored and rebuilt, with clear changes and a high growth rate. In particular, in the past 10 years, the province's socio-economic development has been rapid. The province's economic growth rate has averaged 7% per year; the scale of the economy has been constantly expanding, from a poor province, it has now risen to 5th place out of 14 localities in the North Central and Central Coast regions and 25th place out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide; the economic structure has shifted positively; tourism has developed strongly, gradually becoming the province's spearhead economic sector; Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh has become a famous destination at home and abroad. Quy Nhon City has been honored as an ASEAN clean city twice. The socio-economic infrastructure has been invested in, gradually synchronized and modernized. The development space of the province is increasingly expanded, potentials and advantages are increasingly exploited effectively; the appearance of urban, rural and mountainous areas is increasingly renewed and prosperous; the lives of people in the province are increasingly improved and enhanced.

Along with socio-economic development, the Party Committee always focuses on building and consolidating an increasingly strong, streamlined, effective and efficient political system. Political security, social order and safety are maintained; national defense and security are consolidated and increasingly solid. Foreign affairs activities are enhanced, expanded, and deepened, contributing to promoting and enhancing the position of Binh Dinh land and people. The people's right to mastery in all fields is respected and promoted. People's trust in the leadership of the Party and the management and administration of authorities at all levels is increasingly enhanced.

This must be considered a revolution to streamline the organization of the political system, and this is a particularly important task, requiring high unity within the Party and consensus among the people. Ensure that when the apparatus comes into operation, it must be more effective, better, proactive, regularly close to the grassroots, close to the people, and wholeheartedly serve the country and serve the people. Performing arts at the program.

After the ceremony is the epic art program with the theme "Binh Dinh - Pride and Aspiration" designed with 3 chapters: Heroic epic; 50 years of pride; Aspiration for the land of martial arts. Through the program, the history of Binh Dinh, rich in cultural sediments, is recreated, known as "Land of martial arts - Land of literature". Here, the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of uprising and the spirit of martial arts and literature have been crystallized and highly promoted through many historical periods, from the Tay Son peasant uprising movement with the brilliant peak of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory led by the outstanding talent of the national hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, recreating the typical victories of the army and people of the province through two resistance wars against foreign invaders, the achievements of economic and social development achieved from 1975 to the present.
